Danielle M. Richard is an artist from rural Massachusetts who now works and lives in the North of Boston area. Their work explores visceral moments of reckoning: an interiority meeting a violent or malevolent exterior; a twisted or lonely interior meeting community, or chosen family, for the first time; something close enough to touch; something hanging, toes curled, from a precipice
Danielle earned their BA in Comparative Literature from Boston University and their MFA in Printmaking from MassArt. They’ve shown their work around Savannah, GA and the greater Boston area, notably at Sulphur Studios, Behind VA Shadows Gallery, Warehouse XI and The Piano Craft Gallery.
